Security for Wireless IP telephony.

I am writing again about security on this site. Is it the same thing for Security for Wireless IP telephony.

Wireless IP telephony networks require a carefully planned security to ensure that voice traffic is secure and that network operates properly.

This is not first time that I am telling you: Do not use WEP!. WEP is very easy to crack and it takes less then a minute for your Wi-Fi network to be completely exposed.

So what security should I use, you ask? Use WPA instead. In Enterprise environment use Enterprise WPA with Radius server for authentication. In home you could use Personal WPA.

If you configure VoWLAN security it is the same as for Wireless networks for normal data. Properly planned and configured security works fine for both types of wireless networks.
