Vista, XP, win98 on same network

I have successfully set up my home wireless network that works across vista,xp and win98. All have internet and access to all files back and forth, except win98 cannot access vista (vista can access win98). I've read where this connection is simply not possible. I know what some are thinking, WIN98! WTF! I must confess that I am retired and have alot of free time to spend(waste).It was not an easy task; I like a challenge. All the specifics are too boring to list and couldn't remember exactly how it all came together anyway.Lots of horror stories out there, just thought I'd share a happy one.
